Warringal Conservation had another super successful planting event last Sunday July 20th at the Warringal Parklands.
This planting will eventually create a wildlife corridor between the Warringal swamp and the Yarra river. It will also provide food & shelter for a host of species and contribute to biodiversity value across the city of Banyule.
Here are some of the hardworking team that created this wonderful planting.
We planted 186 plants ranging from trees such as Mana Gums & Blackwoods to mid story Wattles, Sheoak, Muttonwood, Bottlebrush & Banksia to shrubs such as Currant-bush and Kangaroo Apple.
As always we have such fantastic support from the Banyule City Council, Bush Crew (Warwick, Sam & Eliza) who do so much to prepare the site, provide equipment and the all important plants & guards.
