Thankyou to every one who helped make our National Tree Day planting at the Banyule Conservation Reserve such a success yesterday.
Over 85 wonderful volunteers helped to plant nearly 490 plants in the West Paddock to help revegetate this beautiful area.
Guards were made & positioned for each plant, an incredible achievement in 2 hours.
A massive thankyou to Warwick McCullum and his fantastic team from the Banyule City Council Bush Crew. Also wonderful to have the Bushland Management Coordinator Paul Davis join us and work so hard too.
Thankyou to the Joey’s & Cubs and their parents from Greensborough, Watsonia & Viewbank, it was so great to see so many families come along and contribute so much.
This planting due to it’s massive scale will significantly enrich the wildlife habitat of the Banyule Flats Conservation Reserve.
