230 trees & shrubs planted and watered and guards made and positioned for every plant. What an inspiring community event in the South paddock of the Banyule Conservation Reserve, Viewbank.

So great to see so many families join us for today’s planting.
We are aiming to revegetate the area to create a habitat link between the Yarra river and the Banyule Billabong
This is the 3rd year in a row that we have added to this revegetation project and it’s looking wonderful.
We have 2 more planting events scheduled for June and July all close to the Banyule swamp with easy access from the Somerset drive car park in Viewbank.
For the July event we will be hosting the National Tree day planting for our region with a plan of getting 470 Trees, Shrubs & grasses in the ground and protected.
