Steve Marshall is an environmental scientist and a director of the company Bio2lab. He spoke about stormwater pollution at our November general meeting. 

Steve covered the impacts of an impervious and contaminated urban environment on streams and rivers. He spoke about sampling strategies that allow the location and timing of pollution events to be determined. The principles of Water Sensitive Urban Design were introduced and indicators of stream health were also covered.
