Speaker: Robert Bender - Environmental volunteerting in the USA

Recently returned from a trip to the USA over this year’s northern summer, Robert will talk about his experience with the several forms of Conservation volunteering in Door County Wisconsin. One is weekly working bees at an eco-centre in Sturgeon Bay, expert "restorationists’ and public-spirited citizens. Another is Friends groups contributing to maintenance of Land Trust and state parks. They are very different from Victorian Friends groups. Sure to be to Robert’s usual high standard with plenty of maps and photos.
