ROB GRANTER: Jutbula Walk
WCS committee member Rob Granter will take us on a journey through
the Nitmiluk (Katherine Gorge) National Park and onto the Jutbula trail,
a 5 day 62Km bushwalk along a traditional song line of the Jawoyn
people. Even though the country was very arid, we camped each night
on the most beautiful permanent water holes. Highlights were the mass
flowering of the Eucalyptus Miniata and Darwin Silky Oak and the
thousands of birds that were attracted to the feast.
